For the protection of vehicles doors and safety of people.
Any upward-acting door may be fitted at the leading edge with an electro-mechanical safety weatherstrip.
This mechanism consists of a formed galvanized steel section covered with vinyl impregnated rubber hinged along the full width of the leading door edge.
Can be adjusted to approximately 2½" (63.5mm) to form a tight weather seal.
The hinge linkage is arranged that minimum pressure is required to activate the electrical control switch causing door to reverse direction of travel to the fully open position.
Reverse switch is enclosed in a galvanized housing with a sliding plunger to assure positive actuation every time.

The photo eyes travel below the door during the closing cycle.
Unlike traditional static mount photo eyes; Patriot travels with the door sensing obstructions prior to contact.
The Patriot2 non-contact system consists of thru beam photo optics.
Emitting and receiving eyes mount into a rigid steel spring loaded retracting housing.
The housings attach to the bottom section of the door and extend below the leading edge of the door providing an invisible infrared light beam of protection.
The MWT12 safety edge transmitter is designed to provide wireless signal transmission form the safety edge to the motor controls.
It is easily mounted and wired to the gate or door edge sensor. When the sensing edge comes into contact with an obstruction a closed circuit signal is created and is sent to the transmitter.
The transmitter relays the information to the receiver and the receiver passes the signal along to the operator motor.
The gate or door stops movement and will then reverse the direction of travel.
Comes standard with a NEMA 4 weather-proof enclosure. The enclosure can be easily mounted with the four mounting holes and screws provided
