A brake band hold-down for a mechanical dock leveler includes a frictional brake that grabs the hold-down when the ramp is at the proper elevation.
If additional upward force (this can happen when trailers move up and down when trucks are loaded or unloaded) is applied to the ramp the frictional brake will give way just enough to accommodate the change.
This prevents the dock leveler ramp from being damaged.
Motor and controller: Continuous duty rated DC Motor with controller producing a powerful soft start/soft stop output of 2000 Newtons of force to drive commercial sectional doors while reducing mechanical impacts that cause premature wear of door components
NEMA 4X rated controller case: ZAP Controllers and push buttons are NEMA 4X compliant as a standard
Wiring type: C2 (factory default) B2 failsafe is standard with the addition of approved photo eye.
Radio control and external receiver terminals: Terminal strip provided inside the controller to provide quick convenient connections for adding external radio control receivers from any desired manufacturer
TODCO patented the Transportation Core™ a 3/4" 7-ply premium-grade plywood that forms the foundation of the door.
It has a hardwood outer veneer that virtually eliminates wood grain "telegraphing" giving a smoother more uniform look that lasts.
The TOUGHSHELL® system is a multi-layered formulation of liquid polymers that are specifically designed to work together on wood substrates and provide a state-of-the-art defense against moisture abrasion temperature extremes harsh chemicals even UV damage
Standard on all TODCO Dryfreight and TODCOLD® doors only EverWare™ rivets give you the protection of stainless steel – without the cost.
